Overview
This document will describe the routes of exposure to plastic pollution that result in the bioaccumulation of plastic and affect human health; restate the current study findings of human organs/systems where plastic is known to bioaccumulate; describe how nurses can reduce their own and their patients’ exposure to plastic.
You will need to pass the CEU post-test with 75% or higher to receive credit.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Describe the routes of exposure to plastic pollution that result in the bioaccumulation of plastic and affect human health.
- Restate the current study findings of human organs/systems where plastic is known to bioaccumulate.
- Describe how nurses can reduce their own and their patients’ exposure to plastic.
