American Surgery Center is a multi-specialty surgery center focused on providing quality outpatient and same-day surgery for a variety of specialties. ASC is recognized under the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Inc. (AAAHC), the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), designated a Blue Distinction Center for Bariatric Surgery, and an Aetna Institute of Quality.

Our professional staff and physicians are fully committed to providing excellent patient care experience. Experienced OR nurses are needed to grow our facility!

The OR nurse is accountable for patients during their perioperative experience. Surgical specialties currently include general surgery, ophthalmology, endoscopies, and bariatric, and we are looking to add more specialties in the future. The right candidate will demonstrate technical and operational knowledge and is able to apply these skills in the clinical setting. The ability to collaborate with physicians and ancillary services and work in a team environment is a must. The candidate will analyze and upgrade patient care through quality improvement activities and maintain clinical competencies through continuous study, in-services, and participation in obtaining continuing education units.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Monday - Friday shifts
NO weekends and NO holidays
Typical OR shift will be 7:00am-3:30pm
Occasional need for 8:30am-5:00pm
