ChristianaCare Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital seeks an experienced Nurse Manager (RN) to assume 24-hour accountability and responsibility for excellence in the clinical and operational practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care in the Center for Rehabilitation ANCC Magnet® designated unit/practice area within Christiana Care Health Services.

The Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital helps our patients reclaim their independence and activity level, which puts them back on the road to their best health. We are an accredited Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility with specialty accreditation in stroke, brain injury, and limb loss by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Our team of specially trained healthcare professionals at the ChristianaCare Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital (CRWH) is dedicated to rehabilitation to help patients regain or improve the skills needed for daily life. Patients receive nursing care, medical problems are managed, and rehabilitation is provided in our state-of-the-art center. We are internationally recognized and accredited as a Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility with specialty accreditations in stroke, brain injury, and amputation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • DE RN License or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • BSN Required.
  • Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited school preferred or commitment to obtain within 3 years of hire date.
  • Five years of appropriate clinical and leadership experience.
  • Experience in Rehab preferred. 
  • Nursing Professional certification in a related nursing specialty is required.
  • Nurse Executive certification preferred.

DIRECTION/SUPERVISION OF OTHERS:

  • Supervises all levels of personnel on unit position control.
