Registered Nurse (RN) - Middletown Emergency Department - Part Time - Day/Evening New

The Middletown Emergency Department currently seeks an experienced Part Time Emergency Department Registered Nurse. Join our Free-Standing Emergency Department serving Middletown-Odessa-Townsend area.

The state-of-the-art full-service emergency department features:

• 18 treatment rooms.
• Staffing by board-certified emergency physicians and emergency nurses 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week.
• Serving the most frequent emergency care needs.
• Dedicated on-site laboratory with walk-in hours from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Requirements:

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• Appropriate clinical experience. One year of nursing experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a medical/surgical acute care environment is required.
• BLS certification is required and ACLS is strongly preferred.

Hours: This is a part-time flex (.6 FTE), 72 hours per pay. The hours are 07-1900, day/evening schedule.

Other: Weekend requirement is for every 3rd weekend. Holiday schedule follows department nursing guidelines for rotations and shifts.
